AC/DC

AC/DC was formed by Malcolm Young, then his younger brother Angus join in with Colin Burgess, drums, Larry Knedt, bass and Dave Evans, vocals. The name AC/DC was invented by Angus and Malcolm�s sister Margaret, when they saw it on the back of their mother�s vacuum cleaner. They started to record a single, but they quitted it. After alot of people replace alot of people, they continued the work on the single, and it was released in '74. Then they were ready to start recording their first album. A guy named Bon Scott was vocals during this period. The album was titled High Voltage, but High Voltage wasnt on it. They released their second album in late '75, and the name on the album was TNT. High Voltage was on this one. Later, in '76, they released Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap; in '77, they released Let there Be Rock. Then they were ready for USA. When they reached USA. They were put on a tour with Black Sabbath, but were kicked off. Then they were put on with Kiss. In Apr. '78, they released Powerage. After the release of Powerage, they went on tour again. If You Want Blood (You've Got it) is the result of that tour. In '79, they released Highway to Hell. The big shock came when the singer Bon Scott died in Feb. '80. The 1st of April, they found a new singer called Brian Johnson. The bands next album was Back in Black. Bon already had 15 songs written for the album before his death, but not used. It was released in '80, with an all black cover as a tribute to Bon. In late '81 they released For Those About to Rock We Salute You. Then after a long world tour they recorded "Flick of the Switch" in 83. They recorded Fly on the Wall in 1985. In 86 they released Who Made Who. The next album was The Razor's Edge which was recorded in 90. If You Want Blood You've Got It is the only live cd made. So they decided it was time for another. So, in 92 Live was released in both a single disc or double disc. In 95 Ballbreaker was released.
